History
ThinkAid Foundation was established by Mr Henry Kofi Adane as a Non-Governmental Organization in 2017 but was fully registered and incorporated under the companies Act, (Act 1992) on the 4th March 2021.
The idea behind the formation of the Foundation was conceived, while he was growing up, with many questions on how to make life better for the underprivileged and the vulnerable people in Ghana. These questions were shaped by his childhood experiences from his village, -Koraso-Nkantanka, where many people especially children, did not have access to basic life necessities such as food, potable water, sanitation, clothes, education , health needs etc. With strong passion to offer help to people in similar situations around the globe, the Foundation was established as a medium to solicit the support from people across the world toward providing aid to the underprivileged.

Health
Our organization aims to empower people living in deprived communities to take control of their health through creating awareness and regular health screening activities. Social and local media such as TV and FM stations form the medium for our health education programmes on disease prevention and control. In case of medical cost of the poor, it is our objective to solicit the benevolence of people to support medical bills and , as well, provide medical equipment and items for the provision of health care in rural communities. Our utmost dream is providing basic primary health care facilities when possible to the deprived areas in communities.
Education
Our target on education is to support needy school with teaching and learning materials such as chalk sticks, markers, manila cards, pens, exercise books and textbooks, calculators etc. as well as uniforms, sweaters, footwear and bicycles to support the means of transportation in rural communities. We desire that the organization can support deprived communities with basic education infrastructures to improve teaching and learning as much as possible.
People Living with Disabilities
We consider people living with disabilities as the most vulnerable in the society and that they should be supported at all cost. Our organization’s goal for people with disabilities is to support them with basic equipment for their daily living (E.g. wheelchairs and walking aids for people with mobility challenges) and ultimately offer them with skills training that will empower them to earn a living. Creating job opportunities for the physically challenged people is something that this organization intends to do. The visual challenged (blind people ) are well catered for in the provision of their basic needs such as walking sticks, medical glasses etc. The organization is ambitious of providing befitting facilities for the people living with disabilities.
Social Rehabilitation
Our organization also aims to embark on social rehabilitation programmes for people who are considered as social outcasts such as mentally challenged persons, drug addicts, prisoners and ex-convicts. The organization intends to support mentally challenged people to at least meet their basic needs such as provision of foods and drinks. We aspire to support these categories of people with accommodation, feeding and reformation through partnership with appropriate institutions. Our prison programme includes visiting and supporting prison inmates with food items and clothing together with counselling services. We stand to make life better for the hopeless.
Poverty Alleviation
The organization also intends to support poor people in the rural and deprived communities to, at least, meet their basic needs such as provision of clothes and medical needs. Skills training and creating employment opportunities for the rural folks is one of the organisation’s priorities. The organization intends to form a strong partnership with other institutions to assist poor people in the deprived areas in the fields of agriculture, job training and creations and disease prevention programmes etc
