Think Aid Foundation has donated wheel chair, sewing machine and some amount of money to a physically challenged person at Kutre No. 1, a suburb in Berekum East Municipal.
At short ceremony to donate the items to Mr. Felix Kyere, who has been paralyzed since childhood, Nana Yaa Owusu Yeboah , the Welfare officer for the NGO, who presented the items, on behalf of , Henry Kofi Adane, the founder of the organisation, expressed profound gratitude to their donors and supporters for helping them put smiles on the face of the beneficiary. “ I present this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit",Nana Yaa Yeboah said
The founder / CEO of the organisation, Henry Kofi Adane (Borga 1), a native of Berekum, who lives in London , could not join the ceremony in person but monitored it live on GhanaNewsPlus Facebook page, stated “Together, we can impact lives !”.
The sewing machine and wheelchair were donated by Mr Francis Nketiah( Patoa) of UK and Mr Alex Tabiri (Obibini Takyi) of Spain respectively. Others who also made cash donations to support the project are Mr Evans Ofori Yeboah and Mr Francis K Yeboah , both in the UK .
After the presentation, Mr Kwaku Kyereh Diabour, a leading officer of the organisation, presented the citations of honour , signed by Mr Henry Kofi Adane, the Founder of the organisation , to the donors to demonstrate the founder’s appreciation of their kind gestures..
“As a fledgling NGO, we get most of our financial and material mobilisation from individuals who have the good heart to put smiles on the face of the marginalized in the society. We will love to than person’s who donated both cash and items to our brother” Mr Kwaku Kyere Diabour revealed.
Nana Yaa Owusu Yeboah , welfare officer of the organization, however entreated all to show acts of kindness to persons who are vulnerable in the society.
“In this delight, I will entreat us all to extend a helping hand to person’s who lack in our communities. Through that, we make the world a better place for us all” she noted.
Happy Felix could not hide his euphoria by expressing appreciation to Think Aid and it’s partners.
“I’m really excited for these kind gestures. I least expected these redemption items. I thank ThinkAid and its donors . May God replenish whatever coffers anybody drew his support from” elated Felix noted.
Other ThinkAid foundation officers present during the donation were Mr. Frank Amponsah ( Financial Officer) , Abdul Razak ( Journalist and MC for the programs ) , Mr Obeng Amos and Samuel Nsowaa ( Head of IT ).
